Short answer: install Spank Phone on one iPhone and pass it around. Slap-offs, combo battles and "who gets the funniest reaction" contests need nothing else — and they're loud enough to break the ice at any party.
House rules (read these first)
- One slapper at a time, seated, over a sofa or cushion.
- Phone in its case, open palm on the back, rings off. More in our safety guide.
- Set the volume before you start so nobody "accidentally" mutes it mid-round.
- Some reactions are cheeky: read the room before playing with family or kids.
1. The Slap-Off
Goal: most slaps in 20 seconds.
- Before each turn, note the number on the slap counter.
- Someone starts a 20-second timer and says "go".
- When time's up, subtract the starting number. Highest difference wins.
2. Combo Battle
Goal: the longest combo. Keep slapping in rhythm and the app starts counting combos on screen. Each player gets one attempt; the highest combo number wins. Break the rhythm and your run is over.
3. Reaction Roulette
Goal: the funniest reaction. With over 80 sounds and 40 facial expressions, every slap is a surprise. Each player gets a single slap; the group votes on the funniest face or sound. Best of three rounds.
4. Gentle Hands
Goal: the mildest reaction. The opposite challenge: make the phone react as softly as possible. It's harder than it sounds — and the person who accidentally triggers a scream loses the round.
5. The Daily Leaderboard Challenge
Goal: bragging rights. The leaderboards have daily and all-time rankings, with global and friends views. Pick a day, play on your own phones, and compare at night.
